ORANGE FOUNDATION IN PARTNERSHIP WITH IVFCam AND THE MINISTRY OF WOMEN’S EMPOWERMENT AND THE FAMILY TO LAUNCH A NEW PROJECT ON THE ADVANCEMENT OF WOMEN IN THE DIGITAL ECONOMY OF CAMEROON.

ec1The project: “Improving Women’s Participation in Micro enterprise Development in the North West Region of Cameroon” aims to train 100 women in Business Development (Entrepreneurship), Information & Communication Technology (ICT) and Literacy within a period of one year. The training are organised in cohorts  3 months for each, for 25 trainees. The launching took place in Bamenda on Thursday,17th March 2016 at the Women’s Empowerment Center, Bamenda with the inauguration of the of a “Tele-center” to host the trainings. Through this project, 25 women will be train after every three months in Business Management ICT and Litercy. Thus, increasing women’s participation in the improvement of Cameroon’s digital economy. This took place in the presence of the administrative, political, religious and traditional authorities of the North West Region.
