As part of activities marking the celebrations of World AIDS Day 2015 (WAD 2015), IVFCam launched a series of activities on the campus of Progressive Comprehensive High School Bamenda. The activities which were organized in line with the theme of WAD 2015 (Getting to Zero: New Infection of HIV, Discrimination and HIV Related Deaths), included: Quiz on HIV/AIDS, Essay competition on HIV/AIDS, Arts competition on HIV/AID, Drama Contest on HIV & Discrimination, a Debate on the theme “Getting to zero-a myth or reality?” and a Contest on song-composition. The event took place
at the school auditorium and brought about 350 students and 06 teachers together for a mass sensitization campaign on HIV/AIDS. The ceremony ended with the handing over of prizes to meritorious students who participated in the different competitions.
