InterFaith Vision Foundation Cameroon in partnership National Employment Fund North West Region empowers 13 community groups with micro grants.


In line with her Economic Empowerment vision of “No Misery or Poverty for the rural woman and her community”, IVFCam’s through the “Buyam Sellam” project funded by the National Employment Fund North West has successfully reached out to 10 community groups in Tubah Sub Division and 03 groups in Bamenda II Sub Division with micro loans.
This is to support them increase their businesses, make more profits, thereby improving on their living standards. This support comprises of a free training of group leaders on group management, book keeping, financial management and a cash support of an amount equivalent to the groups strength.
It is expected that within a period of 1 year the group will have been able to use the money and refund gradually back so as to permit continuity of the project to other Groups in different communities in need. It is worth noting that this project has previously supported groups in Ako, Misaje, Nkambe, Ndop, Oku, Mbengwi and Batibo sub divisions in the North West Region of Cameroon.
